They help with the preparation of the &#8220;falles&#8221; and they also take part in the celebration. This happens in all the different places and means that the festival will be kept alive. <\/p><\/div>[vc_row_inner css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1651522369465{padding-top: 45px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;]<div class=\"grve-element grve-slogan grve-align-left\" style=\"\"><h2 class=\"grve-slogan-title grve-align-left grve-h3\"><span>Andorra<\/span><\/h2><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1667213452690{padding-bottom: 15px !important;}&#8221;]The children swing \u201cballs of light.\u201d These are balls with different colored lights inside that are swung in circles. This was started in 2005 as a way of introducing children to the festival.<\/p>\n<p>Like adults, they also wear a cape and there is a contest to choose the Junior fallaire, the person who will represent the festival for a year and play a leading role in festivities. \u00a0When children get older, they are subjected to a \u201cbaptism of fire,\u201d which enables them to graduate to swinging the festival. In the village of Les, they dance around a big trunk called a <em>Haro<\/em>, which is put up in the middle of the village square. In Arties, the trunk is called a <em>Taro<\/em> and is set on fire and dragged around the village, while people try to jump over it. The children carry smaller<em> falles<\/em> and start from closer to the village.
