With the passage of time, however, a new celebration was invented. Children, dubbed \u201cfallaires de llum\u201d (fallaires of light) now whirl balls of light, similar to those of the adults.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]This helps children to learn about and take part in the festival. Like the adults, children wear a cape and \u201cjunior fallaires\u201d (fallaires menors) are elected to preside over the festival and represent it for a year.
