Samuran, a village of 26 inhabitants, does not organize a brandon every year. But when it is does, the brandon is prepared according to the traditional technique: the village council orders a linden tree, which is debarked, split and dried. It is then covered with straw when still on the ground and then raised at the place where it is to be lit. A bouquet is added to the top of the brandon, which is lit at dusk.
